Delegate forum registration 2022

Welcome to this year’s E tū Delegate Forums!

E tū’s Delegate Forums are held every two years.

The forums are an opportunity for delegates to:

  • Meet with other groups from their region
  • Discuss current industrial and campaign issues
  • Engage the union leadership
  • Participate in union democracy by feeding into our Biennial Conference

To try to keep everyone safe while there’s Covid in the community, this year’s forums will be held online via Zoom.

You’ll need access to a smart phone or computer and the internet to come along.

Expressions of interest for special roles

E tū Biennial Conference representatives

An important part of the Delegate Forums is to nominate representatives to attend the E tū Biennial Conference, which is held once every two years.

All delegates are eligible to be nominated, but you need to be:

– A financial member of E tū
– Available to attend the E tū Biennial Conference in July 2022.

If you are interested in being nominated, please fill in the expressions of interest questions on the registration form below.

If there’s more delegates who want to go to the conference than spaces available, we’ll take a vote at the forum.

Note: If you do attend the conference, you’ll be covered by Employment Relations Education Leave (EREL), so you won’t lose any pay for the days you’re not working while at the conference.

Delegate Forum convenor/deputy convenor roles

As set down by the union’s rules, each Delegate Forum needs to elect ONE delegate for each role:

– Delegate Forum convenor
– Delegate Forum deputy convenor

If you are interested in serving in either of these roles, please fill in the expression of interest questions on the form below.
