Member meeting with Minister Iain Lees-Galloway: COVID-19 and working people

E tū members are invited to a member-only meeting with Hon. Iain Lees-Galloway, Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety, on Tuesday 21 April, 7-8pm.

The COVID-19 crisis has highlighted what we have always known – the work of E tū members is valuable, important, and essential. It’s your work keeping New Zealand running and keeping New Zealanders healthy and safe.

As we move out of the crisis, we need a plan for the future, which must involve decent jobs – including the Living Wage and Fair Pay Agreements for more working people. These issues need to be on the Government’s agenda as they look towards recovery.  E tū members need to be part of the conversation.

That’s why Hon. Lees-Galloway will be addressing members directly, from his bubble to yours, online via zoom on Tuesday 21 April from 7pm. E tū members will be putting the most pressing questions forward on your behalf.

Your presence at this meeting matters and will send a strong message to the Minister – so please join us live on Tuesday 21 April, 7-8pm.
