Both positions for Pasifika and femme core committee representative are currently vacant. We also welcome the creation of new core committee positions to better represent the music industry in Aotearoa.
If you identify as either femme or Pasifika (or want to propose a new role) and are interested in filling the role, Please provide a 50 – 150 word statement stating the role you want to fill and explaining why you would be best suited for the core committee in this role. These statements will be shared with other E tū Musicians’ members so that your application to the committee can be endorsed.
Core committee members are responsible for:
Meeting at least once a month to discuss key issues and the overall direction of the E tū Musicians’ Union.
Representing the issues of the group they have been elected to represent.
Core committee members for each main centre will be responsible for organising union growth locally, with support from an E tū organiser.
The term of the core committee positions will last six months, from the beginning of October through to early April 2025
