Musicians’ Union: Wellington City Council submission

E tū Musicians’ Union members are making a submission on Wellington City Council’s Long-term Plan regarding pay, conditions, and opportunities for musicians. We want to make sure the interests and voices of as many musicians based in Pōneke, or who play regularly in Pōneke, are heard!

Our submission revolves around three key asks, as per below.

Ask 1: Living Wage for musicians at WCC funded events 

Ask 2: Musicians advisory group to meet with WCC 3 times a year 

Ask 3: More opportunities for musicians in Pōneke
