We are calling for expressions of interest from E tū members who work in trades to be part of our Trades Reference Group.
The group is appointed by our National Executive and is selected from interested members who have trades qualifications or who are working to complete a trades qualification. We aim to have a spread of different trades, different industries, and good geographical, gender and ethnic representation.
The purpose of the group is to provide advice, based on hands-on experience, to the union about all industrial matters that are particularly relevant to tradespeople. There is an emphasis on what workers need from the vocational education system.
