Core Committee Leaders

As the E tū Musicians’ Union grows it is important that there is a clear democratic process for making decisions regarding the direction of the union.

The core committee will be responsible for:

Meeting at least once a month to discuss key issues and the overall direction of the E tū Musicians’ Union.

Core committee members for each main centre will be responsible for organising union growth locally, with support from an E tū organiser.

The term of the core committee positions will last three months, from the beginning of July through to the beginning of October 2024.

The following committee positions are open for expressions of interest – please note, if a committee position is not filled by the beginning of July it will remain open to new members who join between July – October 2024.

If you are interested in becoming an E tū Musicians’ Union leader please provide a 50 – 150 word statement explaining why you would be best suited for the core committee. These statements will be shared with other E tū Musicians’ members. There will be an annonymous online ballot which will decide the E tū Musicians’ Union leaders who will take on specific roles relating to their region and area of interest.
