E tū Membership – Personal payer membership application forms

If there is no ‘Payroll/wage Deduction’ arrangement between E tū and your employer, we can offer you the alternative payment methods; direct debit or recurring card payments. These options are suitable to new members joining E tū, who are remaining an individual employment agreement (IEA) at their workplace.

If there is an E tū collective employment agreement (CEA) at your workplace, we encourage you to complete a ‘Payroll deduction‘ form, which will ensure your employer knows you are a member of E tū.

Direct debit

Options available include:

  • Weekly (Payment collected each Friday)
  • Fortnightly (Payment collected alternating Thursdays – if paid fortnightly, you can choose to start payments on your pay week)
  • Monthly (Payment collect 5th of each month)

To complete, please have your bank account details ready

Monthly recurring card payment

(Visa, Mastercard or AMEX accepted)

  • Monthly (Payment collected 5th of each month, or next business day)

To complete, please have your payment card details ready

Membership types

By default, upon joining, your membership type will be set to ‘Standard’. If you wish to keep your membership confidential from your employer, please email membership@etu.nz requesting ‘Confidential’ membership immediately, otherwise, if there is a collective agreement at your worksite, your name will appear on membership lists which we provide periodically to the employer.

If you require a letter to confirm your E tū membership status, please email membership@etu.nz
